Introducing our new home
Hello, Stardogs family and friends!
After four years in our home on Nemo St, we have moved into our new home at 8549 Santa Monica Blvd as of November of 2022. We’re very excited to share with you more details.
Our new space is now over 4,000 sq ft, with multiple play areas as well as purpose-built spaces for grooming, boarding, bathing, training/activities, resting, retail, and more. Just to name some of the advantages of our space:
Fun and Engaging - We have multiple play areas designated by temperament and play style. Numerous features help keep the play areas fun and relaxing, such as mental and physical games, cot-style beds, appropriate playground equipment, and integrated sound systems throughout so our pups can listen to music in each room. We have full-spectrum lighting to provide the mental benefits of daylight even in shorter days, and our play areas are separated from the busy street and passers-by to minimize anxiety. We have art and murals throughout the building painted by the Siqueiros Foundation, where we honor our furry family members and our community.
Clean - We have integrated, turf-covered poo/pee stations. We use biodegradable and industry-specific cleaners that help us keep our place smelling good while being safe for the pups. Our staff clean throughout the day, use commercial-grade cleaning equipment each evening, and we do a full deep clean each week. We encourage you to stop by and see/smell what we mean!
Safe - We focus on dog safety via our temperament test for newcomers, where our trained staff ensure each dog is ready to socialize, is healthy and flea/tick-free, and is up to date on medical standards. Our staff are make sure play is fun and appropriately safe. We ensure our location is safe with top notch security and cameras systems. We use redundant gates to protect their comings and goings, and redundant leashes while we walk through quiet surrounding neighborhoods (when desired). Our building layout allows our dogs to move between areas (play, bathing, boarding, grooming) safely and securely.
Accessible - We have a parking lot just outside our door with plenty of parking for drop-offs and pickups. We’re easily accessible from eastbound and westbound traffic on Santa Monica Blvd, near La Cienega.
Integrated - All of our services and products focus on helping your pup live its best life, while making life easier for you, the parent. Our top-notch grooming is certified Fear Free. Our expert training is balanced and focused on helping your pup navigate the world around them. Our ultrasonic dental cleaning is non-anesthetic for a better experience for the pup and a lower cost to you. Our wellness services and products are chosen to alleviate common conditions that could arise in your pup’s life.
